What Is Electrostatic Disinfection?
Electrostatic disinfection fogging is a process of spraying an electrostatically charged mist onto surfaces and objects. Electrostatic fogging uses a specialized solution that is combined with air and atomized by an electrode inside of a professional industrial sprayer. There are three levels of disinfection: high, intermediate, and low. This high-level disinfection (HLD) process kills all vegetative microorganisms, mycobacteria, lipid and nonlipid viruses, fungal spores, and some bacterial spores.
How Long Does It Take?
Bacterial will be dead in about two minutes, and virus will be dead in ten seconds! No wiping is required with electrostatic spraying as is required with other procedures, and it’s safe for all surfaces including electronic equipment.
How Long Does It Last?
Electrostatic disinfection does not create a protective barrier, it simply kills unwanted pathogens on every targeted surface, but won’t protect those surfaces from becoming infected again. We recommend you get on a regular schedule for our disinfection services to keep your establishment safe.
Chlorine bleach & hydrogen peroxide are used for this professional cleaning service.
